I was delighted to catch up with Barnacle Bill playing in The Belgian Cafe during the 2014 Ramsgate Seaside Shuffle Festival just before he handed in his horn, announcing to the audience that, age 87, he was taking “early retirement”!

I filmed Dom & The Ikos playing this wonderful Charlie Morris blues number back in 2014, during the Phoenix Club Launch of his Dom & The Ikos Album.
An Analysis of Jazz&Jazz YouTubes: Seeking Answers!
Over the past three years I have filmed for and produced 658 Jazz&Jazz YouTubes of which 538 have been released for pubic viewing. In addition I have countless more MP4 movies, many of which are potential YouTube material.
An analysis of these YouTubes tells a story about the status of jazz, particularly in the UK compared with, for instance, Europe and the USA – in itself perhaps a potential steer to the future.
