Chris RundleLemsford Jazz Fans will recall Chris Rundle on bass with Jazz Revisited. Sam Hall messaged us:
“I am much saddened to have to report the death, in March, of our dear friend Chris Rundle. Chris was a mainstay of Jazz Revisited for over twenty years having been a founder member of that band. Being a reliable and talented bass player he was also much in demand by other bands, having played with the Vine Street Six throughout its existence. It was always reassuring to see Chris in the rhythm section – a veritable miniature powerhouse. We miss him very much. We miss his rhythmic backing, his thoughtful and melodic phrasing but most of all we miss his company and friendship. RIP Chris!”
