‘Conscia Jazz Presents: The Bedford Jazz Festival 2016’

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all well.

Well March has gone fast hasn’t it! It only feels like yesterday that we first announced some of the acts for the ‘Conscia Jazz Presents: The Bedford Jazz Festival 2016’. It is very exciting that we are only 2 days away from the start of the festival, and I can’t wait to hear all of the acts perform.

Below is the final line up for the ‘Conscia Jazz Presents: The Bedford Jazz Festival 2016’, which includes the confirmation of ‘The London Vocal Project’ as the support act for our Sunday night event, as well as all of the ‘Community Stage’ artists. All events that are displayed below are on sale at www.conscia.org. Please remember that you do not need tickets for the ‘Community Stage’ as it is free entry.

For those of you who don’t know, as well as selling tickets for each individual event, we also have ‘Main Stage Passes’. These allow you to go to all four events on the ‘Main Stage’ on that given day with just one ticket; at just £29 for adults, and £21 for students!

We hope to see you all this weekend to celebrate this great genre of music in our town! If you have a moment, please tell your friends about what is going on to help spread the word about jazz in Bedford.

Popular belief is that Jazz has had its day. Not so! There are plenty of great bands on the jazz circuits - playing at Concerts, Clubs, Festivals. People say the musicians and fans are past their sell by dates and don’t attract younger audiences. Again, not so! There is a Jazz Revival!
