Fest Jazz 2018 Presents The Galaad Moutoz Swing Orchestra

French based Galaad Moutoz are dedicated to performing jazz and swing
dating back through the 1950s to the 1930s.

Scene 1 was packed to overflowing by fans and dancers for their Saturday matinee performance.
I had to show my Fest Jazz Media Pass to squeeze past fans and in behind the Lighting & Sound Controls for a clear view of the stage. No chance to zoom in for close up shots.
But I captured two great numbers.

And there you have Fest Jazz ! Young musicians and young dancers in a great atmosphere. This band comes from Rennes (2hrs from Chteauneuf- du-Faou) and, although I’m not a “Big Band expert”, they seem pretty good to me!

Pretty good, Trevor! An understatement! I strove to make this post a feature worthy of them. And worthy of you and your young team’s great work in featuring such wonderful groups and bands at Fest Jazz this year and previous years. Whatever the odds and despite the unforeseen setbacks/letdowns this year, none of Fest Jazz’s making. More posts to come featuring much more from Fest Jazz’s brilliant programme this year. You are Jazz Heroes one and all!
